They are delicate in early instars (prone to mismolts mainly), but once they get to L4 and higher, they are pretty sturdy.  When given a lamp for heat, a mesh cage for an enclosure (cheap and readily available at all the mantis shops), flies for food (also readily available at all the mantis shops), and one misting a day, they are just as easy to take care of as any other species in my opinion.

 
They are not that hard if u can provide them with heating and flying insects. Yes they like to mismolt but also they are pretty good at growing back lost legs. For me the biggest problem was the flies. But I had success breeding them in the end ;)
