Definitely not a carolina. It's an adult female though. I'm going to guess you purchased that...? I'd be very surprised if you found that in Vegas as it looks exotic.

It is not a Carolina mantis as Carolina mantis females have short wings that don't go past the abdomen. No idea what species it is though. Hope you find out. Was it bought or did you find it wild?

My friend bought it at a flea market, no idea what it is. Trying to help him out, he is not from Vegas lol!
Appear to be Hierodula sp. similar looking to H. parviceps.
