I noticed that the last time anyone had mentioned this species is back in 2012. I have heard so many things about this mantis. How it's one of the strongest mantids in the hobby, how it has unmatched aggresiveness compared to any other species, and also it's amazing color morphs. Does anyone know if this species is still here?
Is cilia humeralis lost from the culture?

I had them two years back but both females never laid any ooths.

I had some once, but I did not succeed in breeding them. My female mated with my two males, but died before laying any oothecae.
I've been trying to get some, but I haven't managed to find them available since then.

I've got a few buddies in the UK, sadly Cilnia humeralis is no longer existent in culture. The closest species is Taumantis sigiana, but will never be quite the same.
These were one of my fav's. The female had a cute saddle set of wings and these by far are the most eager to catch prey when eating. They were easy to mate, but the blood line died out and I haven't had any since.
