The 'scans' are done using photogrametry in which you take a lot of pictures (80-120 for good one) and run it through a program. Usually there is then a lot of clean up on the scan in 3D editing program. Once ready you then run it through a slicer and print it in a 3D printer. The head has a rubber coating and the busts have a metal rod embedded into them and then that into a resign base. Quote Link to comment
