Tropidomantis

Wow!What a beautiful Mantid.I've never seen one of these before.I think I'll Google it.

P.S.How do you get the Mantis to stay still for you to take a picture?

Mine always run all over the place or jump on the lens when I try to photograph them.

looks like this is a significantly delayed reply but when I take photos of my pseudomantis albofimbriata she simply likes the attention. When my hand is still for about 20 seconds she will attempt to jump. if you don't handle them regularly the will be less inclined to like not being around there mates. Also my mantis is the only one in the habitat, she likes attention. hope this helped if you still use this site
