Safe arrival despite low temps. PA low night temperature 17° WA low night temperature 41° Temps inside container were measured with an average of 64°, heat pack was measured at 97° so they look like they are all right. I am acclimating them to warmer temps as I type this. Fantastic packing...

The culture I purchased didn't mature and failed, I am desperate and need some really quick. Does anyone have or know where I can buy an established FF culture loaded with adult FF's. Thanks, Paul

Wow! Really cool! I didn't realize how well they can climb up surfaces. I have been nailed by similiar katydids down in South America. I remember cupping one in my hands and it got scared and flicked it's legs which was enough to pierce the surface of my skin and draw a little blood. Amazing...

Think of it this way, imagine if your bones were soft and you can't move until they harden and something or somebody moved you in weird abnormal position, finally when they do harden you are stuck in that position indefinitely. Mantids have an exoskeleton that are like bones on the outside...

Wow! Tammy did a fantastic job in getting me mantids plus a few extra. Careful packing was perfect which insured the survivability of each and every nymph. She also generously helped me get some cultures started by sending me larvae and adult ff's. She definitely is a great person to deal with...
