    ISO L3+ nymphs/adults

Hey guys! Long time no see. I wanted to buy a couple of older (L3+ nymphs/adults as my roommate and I have a wild caught right now but I miss having some exotics. There’s not a lot of for sale posts right now, if you’re selling right now shoot me a message! :) I don’t care species that much as...

    ISO Nymphs

Hey all! I’m looking to get some nymphs right now and I noticed the forum seemed kinda sparse in the for sale ad department. Wondering if anyone has any younger exotics available right now? Not super particular about species, just preferably ones that are not super pricey or challenging to care...

    Oldest wild caught sp. Limbata?

We are in the same boat! I caught two S. limbata last summer; one has passed away and the other is still going strong! I've been catching this species for years and I can't remember for sure, but this must be one of latest dates I've had one still alive. Congrats on keeping your ladies alive so...

    Yen Saw - (US)

Ordered some ghost nymphs and they arrived beautifully packaged and very healthy. One even molted during shipment and they were so well packaged that he was just fine! He even included a freebie of a different species. Would definitely do business with him again!

What do your friends and family think?

Fun fact: I brought an orchid mantid to university today for a presentation, and she was super popular with my friends and classmates, and even my professors! I think people really tend to like mantids overall. Everyone wanted to hold her and take pictures of her. Outside of that, most of my...

    Hi! Newbie from Missouri

Hi Sean! I started keeping mantids when I was about five or six so we have that in common. That definitely looks like a female Stagmomantis carolina to me too - that's the scientific name for a Carolina mantis. They live in lots of other places of course, not just North and South Carolina! I...

    Looking for Olderish Orchid Mantid(s)

Hi, I’m going to be giving a presentation on orchid mantises at UC Davis, and I would like one or two live mantises to photograph for my PowerPoint slides and to bring to the presentation for my audience to see. (And obviously then I will take good care of them) I’m thinking they would probably...

    Dmina

I ordered some L2 nymphs (P. Wahlbergii, M. Binotata, and A. japonica) from Denise. They were unfortunately delayed during shipment (not her fault - but stupid United States Postal Service. ). However, they had been so well cared for that even after four days of shipment, only four...

Been looking for a forum like this

Welcome! We share a love of biology - I'm inAP bio this year and loving every moment of it! I too have always lived gathering all kinds of insects. I can totally see grabbing a bug as I walked out of an internship! I agree about ghosts. I kept natives for years, but ghosts were my first exotics.
