Hello all,
please can you tell me the average sizes of the adults (both male & female) of the Stenophylla lobivertex Mantis?
I am intersted in one of them, and now, here in Mexico City are a few nymphs of this species availables for sale.
Many thanks in advance for your comments.

They are about two inches as adults. However they’re extremely sensitive in shipping and there’s a pretty good chance you would receive a dead nymph.

hello!
so I generally ship ooths, I'd ask Adrian if they wanna part with the fresh ooth from our female (mountainmantids on instagram) or get a later ooth from the female
the adults are maybe 2 inches and pretty darn dainty, but the hatchlings are pretty big (aside from Galinthias amoena I'd even venture to say this species has one of the biggest hatchlings relative to adult size of the mantises we keep in culture) and will handle D. hydei at i1. They don't like bottleflies until subadult stage though

Hello agent A, many thanks for this information and advice. For sure, based in the information all you have shared here in this thread, this species is the most delicate Mantid species i has been willing to keep if compared with all the another very few different species i have haved before (all of them were very easy to care for).

I am in Mexico City, otherwise i would be interested in one ootheca, but i am very inexperienced yet for to try an ootheca (?), Thanks!
