We bought an orchid ooth which are not cheap from USMantis. I believe it is not viable. Is there any way to tell? We have done everything right so I'm very disappointed.

how old is it? orchid ooths can take up to 3 months to hatch
what temps are you keeping it at? how often are you misting? is it getting a regular L: D cycle?

It was delivered August 4th. Temps have been 65-75 degrees misting every 2-3 days to keep humidity up. I'm not sure what a l cycle is.

give it a few more weeks, and shoot for 78-82F
id mist it more often unless you're keeping it in a grow tent that holds extra humidity

L: D cycle is light/dark cycle
I use daylight LED bars on timers for basically all of my living things
