I have a bunch that just emerged and they’re in the fridge as of right now. How do I culture them? Obviously not like fruit flies since they can actually fly but any helpful tips?

Watch out for pesticides, and make sure no bugs are poisonous. 

Just leave them be and they’ll hatch out. Fair warning, once they do hatch out make sure to refrigerate them until you plan on using them. Don’t open the container while they’re still active. 

Ok, tried introducing the male snd this guy doesn’t waste his time. He jumped on but he’s not really making any attempts; would it be ok to leave them together over night or no? Really don’t want to lose this guy as he’s my only one

All came alive, and despite the delay(bad weather near my area, and a massive storm up north), all came alive and healthy! Would definitely plan on doing business again!

I know for suret hat mantiszoo.com has some empusa now and then, and they also have some more hard to come by species like catasigerpes and oxypilus.

Ceratocrania sp? Not necessarily small but does have a goldish sheen

Did you happen to spray any pesticides/chemicals or feed any wild caught insects? Did you or anyone else happen to spray any pesticides or chemicals around your house? This sounds like a case pf pesticide poisoning to me.

Nice pics! I"m really thinking about going back to mantids, maybe starting with ghosts and truncata. How did you get your truncata to breed? I heard that all deroplatys seem to be difficult to breed.

HAs anyone tried using these as feeders before? I've heard that the hatchlings are about the same size as melanogasters, which would make feeding nymphs easier. I;ve heard lots about fruit flies and house flies but never about roaches.

All locusts/grasshoppers create the black substance as a repellent to ward off predators. I believe that they are used as feeders in the UK, so I'm sure that your mantis will be fine,
