    Choeradodis care?

    Choeradodis care?

Live plants(preferably broad leaves ones), feed them live moths/butterflies, good ventilation, high humidity, and expect some die offs.

    Controversial idea

Well I posted this on fb and I’m curious how other people will react so here goes... Slightly controversial idea but this has been on my mind for a while but recently I’m seeing some more rare or uncommon sp becoming available here in the states. While this is good, I feel like some of these sp...

    Odontomantis care

I'm gonna get a few of these nymphs next week and I was wondering if anyone else has any care experience. I know that they need frequent mistings, grow relatively quickly, and stay under an inch. I have fruit flies and red runners so I think I'll be good in terms of feeders. Is there anything...

    Ghost mantis limit ?

Any mantis will cannibalize, the only mantids that are communal are those that cannot physically eat anything bigger than themselves. These mantids have extremely smaller sized raptorial forelegs and include thesprotia and schizocephala

Tips on Keeping Giant African Stick Mantises (Heterochaeta Orientalis)?

Humidity is somewhat irrelevant to most insects and arachnids(with exceptions of course) since they can't necessarily absorb moisture through the air, directly misting is the best choice

    Theopropus care

What's general care like? I assume that it's relatively simple except that you need to slow down the males' growth since they're much smaller. Also orin mentioned in his book that obtaining fertile ooths is difficult with them; does anyone have any experience breeding them and vouch if this is...

    Fungus mold on stick

Humidity for inevrtebrates is completely irrelevant with a couple exceptions(worms, snails, etc). Just mist twice a day for L1-L2, then once a day for L3-L4, and then a couple times a week from then on till adulthood. You can mist more often around molting time or if you’re trying to get the...

Cambodia / Thailand / Vietnam Mantids?

Keep in mind that if you do want to bring them to the states you’re gonna need the proper import permits and containment facilities, which can be costly and not easy to obtain. Eith that said, there’s many hierodula sp, hymenopus, creobroter, theopropus, and maybe odontomantis, tropidomantis(or...

    Blaberus giganteus

One of my favorites in my collection, currently have 2 males and 1 female and a handful of subadults on the way. Awesome display specimens but definitely not good for handling, they’ll act calm for a bit before just running all over the place.

    Red runner problem

Yeah, I’m sure it was. I tried contacting him but he never got back to me. Anyways I would order smaller numbers anyways since once they take off its a bit hard to keep feeding them off in manageable numbers.
