A little update on  Esmeralda: Today she refused to drink, Think she will be gone soon. i dont remeber when i bought her, but think she lived a long life. and now she is old. eating she refused earlier. she was slapping to here food like "eeew that is not tasty" i will enjoy her last days with...

This old lady is still with me despite she doesn't eat much. but she likes to have a drink like she did on this photo; She is still alert of her surroundings. But her hunting days are over.

I think Esmralda is my long lived one. She is still with me. Only eating sucks. I have to force feed her for a few bites. (roach  goo) better a bit in her belly than nothing. She loves to drink. but she is still alert.

Here in NL the infections are rising again. Thus we have now lockdown again. Not fun at all with christmas and old years eve coming. We are not allowed sto see many ppl with those days. I hope normal life comes back soon. *sigh*

Sheralynn ( dont remember here species) could fly before she got to heavy.

Bleh, Esmeralda dont want to eat much , She is at end of her life too. She ate roach goo. She drank some water. in her behavioue nothing changed. She is a sweet old mantis.

Outch, I hope you will find her soon.  When I was in hospital my hubby lost one of my mantids, but he never found him. lost some myself too, but found them on strange places on my desk.

My first mantis had that too. Not laying her ooth and lost fluids from behind, but depite more humidity, more sticks, she didnt make it. I hope it will work for your girl.
