    They look like red-backed salamanders but I don't know anything about the salamanders up there. I would suggest returning them.

    Great weather here in the Southeast US. 70 a couple days ago, low 60's yesterday and nice again today. Little chilly out right now though.

    Not sure what you mean here. Mating sibling mantids is common in this hobby.  And I believe you have heard wrong. I've kept mantids for several generations breeding siblings and never noticed anything like that. Don't believe everything you read.

    Non-Mantis related hobbies

    Sure. Here is a Tyranosaurid tooth. Exact species is unknown as it is still unclear which theropod dinosaurs lived on the east coast.

    It's a mastodon tooth. I do have a couple dino fossils. They are not common here.

    They do look like fruit fly pupae. Are you feeding them flies of any type?
