I have a few Luna moth cocoons that never attached properly to branches, is it safe to hot glue them to a new stick, and how do I position it?

Other people in my area have seen baby mantises hatch, so it's not a freak incident something with the weather triggered early emergence. Apparently they know it's warm enough to emerge, but this is surely a record!

I see aphids, ants, pill bugs, centipedes, flies, daddy long legs. I think some of them could sustain baby mantids and as it gets warmer more insects will soon be emerging. 

Mabye the warm winter had an influence? Either way, could they survive?

Snakes and mantids are like apples and oranges, totally different. Morally breeding different colored insects is nothing bad, it would make the hobby even more exciting. People are breeding color morphs of hissing cockroaches and Dubia cockroaches as we speak a matter of fact! ?

Saw this stunning green mantis in my Garden today.

I don't think insects suffer from hybrids, they can mate with siblings without ill effects, it's not like mammals where inbreeding is dangerous and genetic defects can kill. I hybridized hissing cockroaches and the offspring ended up being healthy and larger than both parents, and not sterile.

It worked for my female, but really any mantis can benefit from it, Gravid females just much more or pre mating perhaps to spare the male.
