Leucism /ˈljuːsɪzəm/[1] is a condition characterized by reduced pigmentation in animals caused by a recessive allele. Unlike albinism, it is caused by a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin. This is not albino, it has black eyes. They complete lack of all pigment suggests it...

    Deroplatys lobata

Increased heat and humidity in the females viv is all it takes when introducing the males in my experience. Puts them in the mood when they hit the atmosphere.

    Deroplatys lobata

For these guys to be so plentiful in the spring and early summer they sure are seriously underbred here.

    Deroplatys lobata

Received 2.1 from Andrew to baby sit, didn't take much to get the job done, just had to feed her the first male and she was ready to go. He's been with her 4 days on and off breeding.

Most likely the young would just carry the trait would take crossing them to get a generation looking this way. I have little knowledge on the species so I was actually going to feed her to Andrews female lobata.

    Rhombodera cf valida Hatch

Sorry man my plates full, and starting to pour off onto the table and floor. We need group efforts, one reason I send random stuff to people to raise and breed. No one person should have all of one species in their possession it risks losing the entire species or bloodline in the hobby.

    Rhombodera cf valida Hatch

It wont happen, I think there's enough interest to keep them alive and well just don't let them go 2-3 at a time. Congrats on the hatch of valida I would like to take some on.
