I don’t like using springtails as they multiply to quickly for me. Pods are your best bet unless you have some tiny mantis you can put in for a while and let them eat them. When all you seem gone replace with the original one.

Springtails are a great source of feeders for tiny new mantis. Some have to live on them for a few molts until big enough to eat mel's.

What your doing is fine, try my blue bottle flies , special going on no for the weekend. Give it a wax worm as a treat like mentioned above with it's regular food a couple times a week is ok.

Well that's because people drop off. U older folks are still here helping. I am wondering the same, is it an adult? seems like it may be going to molt if so. Is it a female adult? She could be getting ready to lay an ootheca.

Really would like a bit more help info. if gnats are in there, you may have to clean it out and restart it, Try to find the source & remove it.

No she will live a long time.

Was it cold when you found her? She may just be old. Make sure to offer her water. If she is that weak she probably wont make it. sorry for the late reply.

She is not Chinese, look at her wings. You need to feed her a couple flies every other day and see if she gets thinner. But she will not as she is going to lay an infertile egg or she is just egg bound. How long has she been adult? if over 2 months, she probably is egg bound., Always offer water.

What instar are they? If their the size of a Nickle, fruit flies are to small and will need house flies. 3/4 house flies a day would be good.
