Wondering if anybody would buy 1000 blue bottle maggots for $13 (shipped via USPS Priority Mail). I'm about to receive a large shipment and my mantises can't eat it fast enough so I thought selling part of it would save some [flies'] lives (later to be taken by mantises).

I had 10 females and 5 males. After a female filled up on a male, I decided that I had to somehow protect the male from getting eaten while mating. The pictures explain themselves. :) She won't let go of the carpet and I don't know why. The male is safe. It works on both dogs and mantises.

I've been away from the forum for a long time, but I'm back to report good news. A shield mantis laid her first ootheca last night! I have 10 females, 7 of which have mated. Just try to imagine how many oothecae I will have in a few months. :)
