I tried feeding my mantis and she doesn't want to eat unless I put it up to her face, and that only happens on rare occasions. When I drop it near her, she just strikes at it, but that's it. Other times she runs away. What should I do?

How do you guys memorize all the scientific names of Praying Mantids? I find it so hard to do so. The only ones I can remember is Phyllocrania Paradoxa and Popa Spurca, lol.

I've never been pinched by them before and I don't really want to make my mantis angry just so I can feel how much it hurts, but has anyone ever gotten pinched by one? If so, how old was it (instar) and how hard did it hurt (bleeding, redness, etc.) Thanks!

So I was cleaning my mantises cage and I noticed a white type of fur, it looks almost like a spider web. It was around the sticks on top where my mantid likes to climb. Do any of you guys get this "fur"? Is it a fatal fungi or mold? I tried googling it and got nothing.
