Left side both pics the larger budwing that has been in culture in the northeast for some time. Right side both pics is the smaller budwing that came from an ooth I got from Yen. Confirmed by Orin that one is an agrionina and one is an affinis.

I believe Rick, he wants to make sure the "zipper" part of the ooth where the nymphs emerge is left exposed and in the proper hatching position. Mantis Man13, as everyone else stated as long as that zipper part is left exposed they can hatch :) it doesn't matter which end of the zipper is...
