Ive only gone and bought another large container for another mantid lol.  I got my eye on the giant rainforest mantis again now too.  To me it makes sense because a tub of crickets is alot for one mantis over a period of time for the crickets to die off.  To the girlfriend it wont make sense...

I was wondering the dos and donts of keeping crickets.  I will buy mine from the local pet shop and use a wet cotton ball to allow them to drink from but what do i feel them that will fill them up but be good for when the mantis eats them?.  Whats safe to feed the crickets?.  Many thanks.

Thanks for the info.  I took him out tonight after misting up the enclosure and made sure the old part of the skin was wet. I removed the part of exvia that was covering his eye and to be honest i think he didn't mind me helping at all only to discover the eye just looks damaged and i think...

Hi all.  My giant rainforest mantid molted yesterday.  Everything went ok or so i thought but basically half of its old skin is still stuck on the side of his head and covering his eye.  Any suggestions of what i can do?  Many thanks guys.
