A Canadian dying to get his hands on a Mantis

Hey folks, 

This is is my very first post here. My name is Omar Morsy. I’m an Animation Director by trade. I was in LA on set for a film and found a gorgeous mantis and fell deeply and madly in love. Ever since then I’ve been dying to get my hands on a mantis but have been unable to find anyone willing to ship to Canada.

That's how it happens, find one mantis and then the addiction begins! They are such fun and fascinating creatures, how could anyone NOT love them? 

You will find many other mantis lovers here. I've heard Canadians have it rough getting mantises, but if you post in the for sale/wanted section, maybe a breeder will reach out to you. I'm sure some other Canadian forum members will be able to help steer you in the right direction as best they can.

I'm in the GTA. I'm not a breeder, but I know a guy that keeps an eye out for newcomers. 

If he's able to do something for you, I'm sure he'll contact you, but yes. Us Canadians have it hard. 

There are also Facebook forums where folk will ship to Canada. 

Our forum rules here prohibit US breeders soliciting abroad, and vice versa. So that's a spot to be in.
