Dirty Container Problem for my Mantis

I am getting a new mantis, but I havent cleaned by plastic deli cup container with mesh for a year, the last time I had a mantis. It is very dirty is there a way to still use it by cleaning it? How should I clean it?

The mesh is dirty. Is there anyway to clean it or do I have to put new mesh in?

 Oh yeah, it totally needs cleaning. I would personally rip out that netting and add new one. You can wash the deli cup with dish soap and hot water and scrub until clean, then let it dry completely before gluing on new netting. I hope you weren't keeping your adult orchid in there, it's tiny. I aim to clean out all deli cups once a month, they all have paper towel on the bottom so it's easy to clean any frass. I bought a pack of deli cups for mine, always have extra.

I just clean them with hot water or alcohol then hot water or if it'd too messed up I just get a new one. Also put like paper towel on the bottom and change it when it startes to get dirty.

I realized that they could not be used again so I threw the cages away. I think it wasfor the best. The mesh could not be cleaned.

Just put in a little bleach and dish liquid, works great.
