'eggbound' is this a general term-what causes it-is there a way to determine..
If this was cause of death?I have a female who should have laid in last 3 day window-full abdomen
found dead yesterday a.m.
also she had obvious dark brown liquid/vomit on mouth area is this normal/common at death?
Or potential sign of some other issue/cause of death beside possible 'eggbound' term I've seen around?
Has anybody ever done a 'mantis' necropsy to determine if 'eggbound' was cause of demise?
'eggbound' this sounds like a blockage of some sort etc. ..
but by what mechanism?
dehydration/ overfeeding etc-?
I know I mist every day/or2nd day base on temps humidity in room
all windows are open. and a fan across top of room to remove any excess moisture
If anything maybe overfeeding occurred?
but if they refuse food I remove it within the hour 2 at most to avoid stress so..?
thanks for any insight.
