First time Matis owner in CO

Hello everyone! 

My name is Aimee and I am a new mantis owner in Colorado. I am expecting a Phyllocrania Paradoxa Nymph in the mail today and was wondering if anyone has some first timer advise ?

Hello Aimee and welcome to the forum

For first time keeper advice, it is the forum itself - there is much depending on what you do or do not know. I recommend you start with the caresheet of your mantid species, and search for the forum for any questions.

Feel free to ask any questions as well, but for just random advice you are best picking up a book on keeping mantids. The most recommended books are the ones from Orin, such as Keeping Aliens, or the more detailed one Keeping the Praying Mantis.
