Hey all!
I wanted to go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Kenya, and I hail from the Las Vegas area, (Henderson, to be exact).
I have always had some sort of a "zoo" going in my different homes but am now looking to get into mantids. I have never kept any insects, arachnids, etc before. So, I figured I would do what I always do when it comes to my less domestic and more exotic pets, and join a forum, as that's where all the experts are c;
So basically, I was wondering if someone could point to me to a couple different articles. I want to start with a female Orchid mantis, and have found a little bit as far as care goes, but quite frankly I see terms like L-1 and up, sub adults, instar, etc. And have zero idea what they mean. :x
Resources would be lovely as I will not bring any living creature into my care until I have done a LOT of reading
