I was here years ago then life took me in a different path and now I'm back. I don't know if anyone else had these issues but here in upstate NY it was a rough year for our little friends. In August they are usually everywhere at work. I came across this pregnant female Sept 21. I hope they are not on a permanent decline because I look forward to their interactions every year.

Welcome! That is a European mantis. I have not seen those in person before. I read about them living in South Korea, but they are rare there and only in the southern parts so I didn't get to raise them. I always thought the European mantises were beautiful because of their translucent color. They are called "Glass winged mantis" Korean.
