Hello from Washington State

Caught a Mantis in the back yard this summer here in Washington State - in all my life going on 60, never seen a praying mantis in Washington State. I live on the west side of the state where its cold and wet a lot.... I think some one bought 100 of them for bug control in their back yard or something ... Quickly put together a 15 gallon fish tank home, it just died yesterday but not after laying its egg cluster a few weeks ago. Plan on getting a new one, or a small group of them as they come available. Have some questions, but will post them separately. Sure are fun to watch, curious ferocious little eaters they are.

Nice for you, but sad it died so suddenly, more than likely she was mated coming from outside, you should have plenty by 1st couple weeks in new year. Welcome
