i freed my two nymphs outside my door in a yew hedge that gets sun all afternoon. i water it every morning. i saw them both in that small hedge this morning. should i separate them? i keep my porch light on all night and lots of bugs gather there as i see them dead all over in the morning. a frog hangs out there to eat them.

can they handle heat well as it does get really hot in the afternoon there.? thanks for all the help!

What species did you set free? As for the heat, they should handle it well if there are plenty of plants.

i set my Chinese mantids free today and i was so surprised that i found a baby nymph in the same bush!!!!! i feel better. i saw one of my babies before and fed him a cricket, (im bad, i know)i am spraying the bush down with water as it is 100 degrees today. thanks again for all the help!
