Beautiful, and beautiful photos, you should save some to enter into the calender contest here. Only unshown photos can be sent, and some of yours

are just great for that. Like the 4th one down is my pick.

Thanks very much Rebecca! :) Tammy did pick several for last year's calendars, but I wasn't aware that submissions were supposed to be unshowns ... oh well, I can always take more!

Absolutely stunning pics!
Thank you mushroom! I'll continue to maintain that a good photo depends almost entirely on the subject! :)

Wow, that first photo is epic!
Thanks a lot Precarious! That's my fave too. ;)

I seriously considered de-saturating the magenta, it's so outrageous that I'm worried people will think I PhotoShopped it!!

Those long legs make it look like a colt! Gorgeous pictures!
Thanks Sticky! Funny, I've thought something like that before about a few of my mantis images ... tell me this one doesn't think it's a fawn!

Amazing... simply amazing....Such a beautiful creature! The curly Q antennae are awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Again thanks for letting me see a close up of mine ; ) Now mine also just molted but i dont see the purple on the head. is this cuz im blind or do you have them in an environment that brings out the color ? If i had to desribe them to a police scetch artist id swear they were all brown...or tan

Thank you Bloodtkr! It does take a camera flash or strobe to really bring out the color, but it is real. My first L2 Idolo nymphs about a year ago had hardly any of this color to them either, their faces were just a tiny bit pink.

An LED flashlight is usually pretty good for bringing out color.

Wow. Those are all just beautiful pics!
Thanks very much Jay! :D
