Hi, from South Jersey

My family adopted two Chinese mantid nymphs in December (the survivors of the ooth that hatched in our neighbors Christmas tree) and one of them recently passed after a bad (final) mismolt. My daughter, who's six, may love mantids even more than I do, and we've both been eagerly discussing the possibility of adopting more.

Not knowing where to find reputable sellers, I came here to do some research.

Attached.. a few pics of Penelope and Priscilla and one of the wild mantis we used to have "visit" us at home.

Hahaha yes I can already tell that this has become an addicting hobby I appreciate the references - I actually did but feeders from Bugs in Cyberspace. I had binge watched a ton of his YouTube videos and I was very impressed with his knowledge and obvious care.

And I wound up buying a few nymphs from an old member on here, and couldn't be happier!
