At 1st I suspect its because I ran out of hobby/tongue depressors,
that I only used
because I saw a photo somewhere where someone else used them
and then just happened upon some while going thru my recently deceased mothers art supplies-
so I said a silent thank you and put them to use-
Originally I started with twigs.
So I surmised less width to lay on (tongue depressor to twig)
=longer ooths would be the logic here?
-but then..
I realized that I originally started them off on twigs
and the ooths were still shorter on twigs/and the same as on tongue depressors
those 1st 1-3 ooth layings.
So in any ones experience-these much longer thin ooths
is this possibly an indication they may be near the end of laying?
or just random -because it occurred with both females ooths yesterday and today
