So my L1 mantis that has hatched (only 1 has hatched so I think it's a scout) and it's been three days and it has not eaten. I have tried hand feeding and I can see it's mouth moving and eating a little but doesn't seem to want to eat
diapaused ooths dont have a high survival rate either...The undiapaused ooth have such a low survival rate , I have one (1) L3 Religiosa nymph that is the lone survivor of an ooth...and only 3 , L4's from an undiapaused Tenodera ooth. Therefore I diapause all of my naturalized mantid ootheca .... S
Interesting to hear , I have another couple ootheca that I am diapausing to confirm or disprove that diapausing is required. I should have the results this spring ...... Sdiapaused ooths dont have a high survival rate either...
