Hello all, figure due time to make a post been following posts and reading here for couple years now and watching videos and reading on mantids for several years. Spent the last couple  years practicing raising all various instar's of chinese and carolina's that i've been able to come across in my area, last year i had several make it from l1 to adult i was pretty tickled. Figure i was ready to try a non native species!  So just got my  order in on my Phyllocrania Paradoxa (aka Ghost Mantids) I have heard they are pretty good for beginner's so here's hoping =D. Nice to meet everyone!

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Ghost mantids (Phyllocrania Paradoxa) are excellent for beginners, and actually easier than the native and naturalized species you named. Not to mention their very exotic look, they make a great choice. :D

Welcome to the forum!  I raised Chinese to start and just got some ghost mantids myself a few weeks ago.  So far they are super fun!

Hello, yeah I try to be. :D Ah okay well it sounds like you have looked around a bit and should be good to go then. If you have any questions though just ask; otherwise, good luck. ;)
