hey everyone!
so important life update
I mastered out of my PhD program because my advisor and I have some incompatibilities in our communication styles. Not really saying either of us are at fault but he expected me to be fully independent and do all of my writing alone, which I've never done in any other program. But it's fine, we all live and learn!
So I got a job with an environmental consulting company. Pay is great I will say but here's the catch
I'll be gone for weeks on end June-September.
So if I disappear, it's due to this
I will be in Idaho in the field June 15-July 1, then in Nevada until the 21st! Then I'll be back in CO until the end of July, before leaving once more
A few of you have my number and I'll pop on when I can, but I may be in west bumblef*&% USA without cell reception, so if I'm slow to respond, that's why
it's also why I'm downsizing my collection. I've set aside about 5 pairs of each species I want to keep breeding
I'll be sure to take lots of pics of my planty adventures out west though!!

I’m sorry your PhD didn’t work out, but I’m glad you found a great paying job. Sorry to hear you’re down sizing your collection. When your traveling settles down, just think of all the extra money you’ll have to create an even more magnificent collection! :D
