I’m new to insect life looking to set up a bio terrarium with isopods and springtails and 2 mantises (separated by a wall) a giant Asian mantis and a ghost. The giant will be my daughter’s pet but I’ll be doing most of the care. I have so many questions on everything. I went to 2 well reviewed sights and they each had a different set up for the giant Asian; one said a terrarium as they needed heat and humidity the other said open pop up mesh enclosure as the heat and humidity would kill it. I messaged both companies to ask why there was such a difference in set ups and neither replied (one was USMantis got the other in my email). Where can I get plants that can hold a giant that doesn’t have pesticides etc…my list can go on and on.

Many things can do well over a reasonable range, so if one person says they need 88F and another 70F those are personal experiences. If someone writes a care-sheet he or she often puts what has worked for them. One does not write everything that might possibly work and has ever been experienced.
