I'm not sure but ooths tend to show holes a lot more when they are close to hatching? I have an ooth and maybe that's the way it is, i mean the areas where the nymphs should appear are much more noticeable. I do not know if it is my impression, I have only hatched few, I mean, little experience.

Can we see some pictures? I never notice because I don’t pay close attention to how they look but it would make sense.
Picture is not exactly what i see but almost, at first look i was confused about from what side it should hatch cuz every side was almost similar, but now it is more evident, or maybe i´m crazy.

the mikle part x to the markings are the opening. looks like heridula or maybe majuscula
