hey all,

my Polyspilota aeruginosa have been adults for at least 2 weeks now and don't seem to want to mate

when i set a pair together in a net cage, the male just hops back and forth while doing a threat pose as the female runs around

anyone know about how long this big species takes to want to make babies?

Usually a good 3 to 4 weeks makes sure they are ready, but they could be ready now, but I don't think so. If he was ready he would of already jumped on her.
