Pulsing of back end

Is pulsing of the abnomend show that the mantis might moult soon? My mantis is doing this. It's at L4 stage and has a very fat abnomend and keeps pulsing. 

 
Usually the abdomen pulsing is just the mantis breathing though holes in its abdomen called spiracles. Mantises always do this and it's normal but I have heard that some other people on here notice the pulsing more when the mantis is about to moult

 
I have noticed mantises seem to pulsate their back even more while eating. When the air comes in through their breathing holes, the spiracles, to better distribute the air they can actively pump there abdomens which helps the air get around to more organs.
