RIP Mark E. Mark :(

Our Wahlberghii, Marcus Earnst Marcus (aka Mark E Mark) fell molting last night. He never molted from the top, he loved his flowers, so it was odd to see him go all the way to the top of the cage. I even moved him to a lower spot where he could get a better grip. But he insisted that he molt from the top. Found him this morning laying on the bottom, and he seemed like he had already passed. But just to make sure he wasn't in pain, we put him in the great cold yonder... He was cute and he knew it.

Thank you for the concern. The sad part is that, when we got him, we only wanted the Idolo's. He was a gift and we didn't care one way or the other about him. After seeing him grow and learning his behavior... We both kinda liked him better than our Idolo... She'd kinda stuck up, he looked like he always wanted attention. A bit sappy, I know. But he really was cute (as far as mantids go) and his head looked like he always had this adorable facial expression.
