Wait before breeding?

I’ve read many things on how it’s best to wait 2 weeks before breeding matured mantids. I’m getting an adult male in 2 days. My female is 5 days matured. What should I do? Should I wait before breeding, or just do it. Any advice is much appreciated as this is my first effort at breeding. I have done so much research lol.

Definitely wait until the female is at least 2 or 3 weeks, or until she starts calling.
