Huh, something different. Is it better?
smugmug.com is better for my needs.If you just want to share photos and you aren't worried about people using your images without your permission or without paying for them, then Photobucket is fine. Otherwise, if you have a pro account with smugmug, people cannot right click on your image and save a copy of it, though once I share my images here, I know they can.
Smugmug no longer has a free option. I have a pro account and use it for sending editors to my website. I occasionally sell a few prints. Last year a small online greeting card company found my images and purchased two of them. That paid for my annual fee. So, my print sales were profit. If you want to set your own print prices and make a profit, you have to have a pro account. There are many options for customizing Smugmug, but I haven't put much time into it. There are no ads. With a power or pro account, you can use your own hostname.
