Hello. I'm not great at introductions, so here goes. I currently have 2 jumping spiders, 3 tarantulas, and 1 mantis. The mantis followed me home from the gas station and sat on my coat the entire time. Seeing as mantids are one of the insects I already was looking into keeping, I adopted the little one. Mistakenly, I thought the mantis was a male seeing as there are a few possible mantid species that could live in my area and for the most common one around here they looked male. I was wrong. My mantis is a female who just laid her ootheca in an awkward spot in the temp critter keeper I was using. So now I'm posting here introducing myself so I can request guidance from other breeders on another part of the form. *insert awkward smile and wave*

Still here? Great. My mantis is named Pickett.
