Keeping Mantids

I just wanted to know, how long have you guys been keeping mantids? I am not going to lie myself. I have only been keeping mantids for about 3 days now. I just recived a lovely package of Grass mantids from Chris (Geckospot) and a lovely package of Creo's from Nicholas (Nickyp0).

It's hard for me to say really, was raised as a kid surrounded by various animals including mantids and other insects, it just took from there. I suppose 'my own' rather than my families, started when I was selling some snakes at a meeting and somebody offered me some Hymenopus in exchange, that must have been around 15 years ago i should imagine.

Not really sure. I was finding mantids as a young boy and "keeping" them. I learned so much from years and years of catching mantids or observing them in their natural habitat.
