I have an adult male eurycantha calcarata and quite a small mantis. Would it be possible to house them in the same terrarium?

I think the eurycantha calcarata is too big for the mantis to pose any kind of threat, but not entirely sure.

Thanks,

Not a good idea. Praying mantises will attack just about anything. I don't have any experience with stick bugs, but even if it doesn't pose a threat to the mantid, the mantid may pose a threat to it. Look at all the Youtube videos of a mantis fighting all types of insects, some more than twice its size, and it still attacks....

Eurycanthra will stress it out, and they get significantly bigger than most mantises. They’ll likely knock it down during a molt and the males have bulky rear legs with hooks for a reason...one kick and it can very easily incapacitate something as small as a mantis
