Hello all!

These are my first mantids and my orchid babies are getting close to adulthood. I bought as L2 - L3. I'm not sure where each were when I purchased but I believe the one on my hand to be L6 Male (are those wing buds?) and the one on the black computer monitor to be L5 Male. Can anyone confirm the sexing? What is the L for subadult male and female orchids respectively?

I want to breed some eventually. Was hoping a female that would time well with some L2/L3s I have growing. Think I struck out here.

Thank you! Better luck on the next ones I hope. Their tiny abdomens are so hard to see without a macro lens.

I'm seeing a male and a female but I could be wrong.

As others have said they are definitely both males as they are small for sub adult and lack the green necklace of females.
