-Hello all, please help me to ID these mexican mantis which a friend (whos keep them) was just collected these mantids the last past weekend within morelos country land area of mexico.

Hi.

This is a member of the family Thespidae, somewhat related to Thesprotia graminis. However, it is not Thesprotia, but rather a Musonia or Pseudomusonia species, maybe Thespis itself. There is absolutely no chance for ID thespids from photos.

-Yes it is, the mantids pictured on the link you showed looks very similar to the mantis on the picture for ID.

Hi.

The pronotum of Oligonicella mexicana is much shorter then that of the figured species. I do not think it's the same species, but it may belong to the same genus.
