Orchid mantis suprised me by mouting to a massive sub adult instead of the adult i thought she was going to, so decided to show off mantis diversity with my D.dessicata :P

Got 4 of these, did have 8, lost half of them from mismoults and just dropping dead. Feeding on firebrats and kept under a heat lamp.

She moulted and she's moody.

Omnivorous species feeding on green bottles, fruit flies, fish food, dandelion flowers, aphids, and pretty much most things lol. Waited for these for a while and now i cant wait untill they are adult, they get a stylish Tron style colour scheme :D Always found carnivorous katydids interesting...

Got 3 females and 2 males around 5th instar, fingers crossed.

Got a colony of 50 of them the other day, fingers crossed i can get them breeding. And here's their set up, thats not how much they've webbed since putting in, i just chucked the webbed twigs from the transport tub in together.

I never used arachnoboards for tarantula's, i used it for the true spiders and insect discussion, there were tonnes of valuable members on there posting all sorts, i was in the middle of discussing loads of things through PM i could never hope to get on here, plus i was in the middle of...
