    wow your lucky ha there no mantises where i live in LA never seen a wild mantis or ooth ever the only insects around here are flies and bees no exotic cool insects running around here ever i thing thats why im so fascinated by mantids

    Insects that can be imported into CA, USA without a permit.

    I dont know if this has to do with this topic but i live in california and when i went to this reptile store to get some fruit flies they asked me what are they for and i said baby mantis and they said we cant sell mantises anymore cause there illegal. i dunno if shes telling me the truth or not.

    ok for how long will i need fruit flies after L1 and L2? my nymphs are 5 days old and the fruitfly cultures i'll order come in on tuesday and it says it takes a while for them to get going is it worth it?

    alright thanks i think you call aphids something else where you live but over here in california there these little bugs in groups chillin on the underside of flowers really slow and juicy for the nymphs. i find hundreds of them in my backyard but the rain made them hide
