So today I was feeding my ground beetles and was trying to take the legs off a cricket when I split it in half. I was about to put it in when it's bottom half twitched and it's top half walked around. It's been 20 minutes since then and the bottom stopped moving while the Head is walking around.

So I am thinking about getting some hercules larvae or beetles, what kind of substrate would i use and do they have any special requirements? Thanks

I keep a lot of insects in my area and recently i caught a pandora sphinx moth that laid eggs that are probably fertile. I was wondering how to take care of the eggs and larva before they hatch. Any advice? I have kept a lot of different caterpillars before but never sphinx moths.
