My pet mantis Les has died :(  attached is one of his many cool moments 

My hierodula majuscula is not in good shape at all. I left him with A friend for a week while on holiday and during that time he molted to subadult I think as wings have appeared, he seems to be refusing to eat his crickets and has lost a significant amount of grip and seems to be very fragile...

I'm on holiday in coastal Croatia at the moment and was wondering what mantids are common here? And also, where to look for the aforementioned mantids( eg by water, in trees etc)  thanks

wasn't sure whether to post this in general discussions or here, but decided here. Anyways, what camera does everyone use for photography of their mantids? I've found that the lens on my phone isn't adequate and the lens on my bridge camera cant focus?

I've had a colony of caterpillars descend on my house and i don't know what they are? any ideas?

i just bought 10 white spotted assassin bug eggs and was wondering how to keep them until they hatch? would also appreciate any tips on keeping them once they've hatched although i think i've got the gist. :)

yo so basically i know that you can keep the same species of assassin bugs together, but would it be possible to house different species together, thinking of putting white spots and red spots together but will refrain if it isnt possible :)
